Christmas was fun, as always. I love my family and my friends. I don't like looking at my tree the day after Christmas. I feel bad that I have to shove it back in a box for 350 days. If I leave it up, my fam might check me into some sort of facility. I actually knew somebody who did keep her tree up 24/7/365. We just thought she was lazy, Turns out, she really is crazy. So I'll give the tree a few more days, then pack it up and put it back downstairs. Sigh.

We are all in better moods today because of office secret santas. For 1 week out of the year, we love one another. The 51 other weeks, we simply tolerate working together. Today was the big reveal. Out of the 12 of us participating, only 2 guessed their secret santas. I did not. I wasn't even close. I was so concerned with racing around, hiding, dodging people to get to my person, that I didn't give my secret santa a chance. It was fun. We should do s
Only 12 more days until Christmas! I have 2 presents purchased. At least my tree is up and decorated. I'm so thankful for Amazon Prime... that means I can procrastinate even more on my Christmas shopping. Here's what I don't like. I don't like Christmas lists. I don't want people to tell me what I want to get them. If I don't know you well enough to get you a present without pulling something off of your list, then we probably shouldn't exchange gifts.
December is a stressful month, I get it. It's a fun month, too, because it's the month of Christmas, my sister's birthday, review time at work (the only time I bitch the entire year to my boss) the official start of winter, New Year's Eve, and there's always a countdown. X days until Christmas, X hours until the stores close, X hours until the new year. December is also social month. I probably get out more in December than any other time of year. I'm not a social person, but my calendar is already getting full. I take a lot of photos - Christmas parties, Christmas cards, family get togethers, etc. I went from the pan into the fire.
