I get soooooo nervous watching figure skating! I hate it when they fall. Sigh. Breaks my heart.

I know my editors told me that now is the time to sit back and wait. I know they are doing awesome things to the manuscript but I wish I was a fly on the wall during their 2nd round of edits. I'm nervous...

I have a trash can that is covered with baby chicks and it reads Chicks Rule! I couldn't agree more.

I've started a new book! Well, actually, it's one I wrote years ago, but I'm switching to first person AND I'm throwing in a little bit more spice. Perhaps this one I will make more about sex than love. For some reason, Jolt straddles the fence. I think there can be really hot sex (sub/dom) and love, but my editors think differently. I left it because I strongly believe you can have both in a healthy relationship. I need inspiration...

What are some fun things to do in Vegas?  Any suggestions??

As a writer, it's sad to finish a book because you've grown "close" to your characters and it's hard to say goodbye. As a reader, you want more when you finish, and I think that works the same for the writer. Do Ali and Bethany have more to their story? I think they do. I'm excited to share more about "Jolt" but I am patiently waiting for the blessing. I can't wait to share!!  Maybe I can share my lead paragraph... that's not wrong, right?

It's time to be a girl again and get plucked and pampered. I tend to hibernate in the winters and kinda let myself go - au naturel. Plus I have a trade show in a few weeks and I need to welcome people into our booth, not scare them away. Oh! And I need shoes. Sensible shoes. 

Miss Raven Elizabeth Meow Meow is no longer on this earth, but forever in my heart. Almost 19, she finally just had enough and wished me well on the rest of my journey, but sadly is done with hers. I haven't cried this much... ever. Craziest, protective, one person cat, but loved me unconditionally. Hated Molly though. I will miss her terribly forever.

12" of snow yesterday. Not to mention drifts. My car has an 8.5" clearance. The drive to and from work aged me I believe. I really need to move to Hawaii or somewhere peaceful and warm.
