I really wasn't in the mood, but it has always been the day my sister and I get together and have fun. If a store is crazy busy, we walk out. We like the smaller local stores because we know them and they know us. Plus they have hot tea and cookies. And you all know how I feel about hot tea. Fun day... Back to dogsitting.

This time, it's a newbie dog. My friend's dog, Jax (named for Sons of Anarchy actor). He is quite the handful. Not because he's hyper or out of control, but because he has high anxiety. I'm the exact opposite. I'm kinda hoping he settles down because he will be with me until Sunday. I'd like to enjoy my long weekend, too. He is super cute, though. A brindle cocker spaniel. When he stretches out, he's almost my height.

 Okay, not really, but the height of an 8 year old for sure. And he likes to think he's a lap dog. He's scratched my face 3 times already. I'm trying to write, Jax! He doesn't get it. Wish me and this sweet boy luck this weekend.

When I curse, cuss, drop bombs, it's usually for humor. I don't get angry often. My life is pretty simple. For some reason, I've been saying "for fuck's sake" A LOT lately. It makes me giggle. When people look at me, they think I'm super sweet (which I am) and that I'm nice (which I am), but they don't know how dark and dirty my mouth gets. I'm surprised more people don't curse. Then I remember I don't have kids so I don't care what I say, when I say it or how often I say it. Well, I do try to keep my mouth PG around kids. As a writer, I love words. I love using all words - foreign and domestic - for the sake of getting my point across.

For fuck's sake, can it be any colder?
Molly, leave the squirrels alone, for fuck's sake. 
I was wearing a T-shirt last week, for fuck's sake!

So if we meet one day, and you hear me drop a bomb, no worries. It's all in good fun!

I say that because I've had great reviews on Amazon. Here's the fun part, every once in awhile I'll hit the UK Amazon site and I always get excited when I see a new review. I've only have 2, but how cool is that? Every review is awesome, but I'd like to branch out overseas more. Plus, all day I've been speaking with a British accent because I've been inspired. So, thank you, UK for your continued support and kick ass accents!

So I started a new book. I'm about 4,000 words in. That's not a lot but so far so good. Of course there will be steamy sex and some drama. It will be exciting to see what happens!
