Got my hotel booked already.  Apparently Provincetown, MA fills up QUICKLY so if you are planning on going, I'd suggest getting your hotel room booked NOW.  It's only March and several of the places are not available during that week. It sounds like fun.  I'm a Ptown virgin so it should be a mass of excitement.  

I love music. I can't imagine life without it. ZZ Ward was great last night. I really enjoy women in rock/jazz/folk...music in general. I miss Lilith Fair. Sarah should start those up again. I pick music over TV 90% of the time (need Castle and Walking Dead tho')

Amtrak is offering a free 2-5 day writing trip in a private sleeper car for 24 writers. Over 10,000 prople have applied so far (and that number is from last week). How cool would that be?!?! Utterly romantic and scenic. Sigh.

It's been 7 weeks. Perhaps I should check in with my editors. Who knew it took this long??? Waiting is the scary part... And why am I up this early on a Saturday????

So I'm thinking of attending.  What can I expect?  Is it a good turnout?  I have a feeling I will end up going down a Saint and coming back a Sinner...  

The boss is out all week so I'm in charge of marketing and advertising! I get to be creative and he won't even know until after press! Tee hee!

That is my opening paragraph.  I don't know if it will change -- I'm still waiting to hear back from my editors, but I wanted to get something concrete out there so that I can start developing some sort of interaction with people who will be interested in my book when it comes out this fall.  What do you think?
