I adore my parents' dogs. They are sweet and kind and very lovable, but I only like them 18 hours a day. Last night was my first night house/pet sitting over there and the rott/lab mix snored the entire night so sleep was fleeting. The tiny weenie dog has a severe under bite and I was amazed at the sounds coming from her as well. Not to mention the 100 lb rott/lab tries to squeeze into a tiny area between the bed and the wall and tries to run in her sleep. It sounds like Freddy Krueger is coming to get me at 2 a.m. as her nails scrape the wall.
I don't snore. I really don't. I've awakened to people standing over me checking to make sure I'm alive because they can't tell if I'm breathing or not. Yeah, that's a little scary. Perhaps that's the reason I don't get enough sleep every night. I am just a very light sleeper. So I am off to tackle night #2/8. Wish me luck!
