Today was a great and productive day. I had a good breakfast with new friends. I hung out at the beach - wrote a bit - made out with Olivia, a very sweet dog who listened to me more than her own mama, met another dog Jenko who ran circles around me, saw a lighthouse, went to a wharf and took a nap. I ate a decent dinner, ran into my breakfast mates, picked up chocolate and now I'm back at the hotel.
I also just found out that the other authors have been practicing their readings aloud. I haven't so now I'm whispering the book I'm reading from on Wednesday - Heather Blackmore's Like Jazz. Very good book and I"m excited to read from it. I just have to be quiet because this is a bed & breakfast and the walls are relatively thin. I"ll worry about my own book tomorrow. I don't know if there is a time limit there or not, but I better have a plan B just in case!
