Is it the weekend yet?

Is it just me, or has this week been dragging?  Normally I don't complain, but I swear I've had at least two Mondays already, a couple of Tuesdays, Wednesday never ended... I'm done.  I need a break!  I need the weekend.  Next week I'm house and pet sitting so I will have a lot of downtime to write and relax. Or so I think. We ALL know how that goes.

So this weekend I'm doing a Meet Up event at a local coffee shop.  I am forcing myself to meet new people. I'm also working at my first soup kitchen downtown. A bunch of us gathered up school supplies and snackies for the kids who go to the kitchen. I usually stay behind the scenes, but this week... NO MORE!  This week I'm grabbing a hair net and making it happen. I shall meet even more people.

Maybe because this weekend is exciting, I'm anxious for it to start!  Nah, I swear, the week is definitely moving in slow motion.
