I woke up this morning to find out that Jolt is a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award! What an incredible honor. I am giddy and happy and thrilled. I know Jolt is the dark horse of the bunch, but how cool is all of this?!?! Just to be in the finals is something I really never thought possible. At least not this early in my writing career.
I like Jolt because it's a simple story about trust and falling in love again. We have all been there. Sometimes it's nice to know there are others out there, fictional or not, who have the same struggles finding that trust again. Oh and the excitement of learning another person and letting them into your life! The first touch, the first kiss and the first time you make love. Sigh! Thank you for enjoying it as much as I had writing it. More to come on Ali and Bethany...stay tuned!
