Sunday Football and Fall Things

This time of year always confuses me. The Royals are still playing and the Chiefs are starting their season. The mornings are cold (50s) and the afternoons are hot (80s). I start with hot tea and end with iced tea. It's all about the layers. T shirt under long sleeves under a hoodie or jacket. Fall really screws me up. The beautiful greenery of summer dies and disappears. Cold sets in and I only leave my house for the essentials...work, grocery store, vet. If it's windy? Forget it. That's pure hell for me. So I'm pretty much miserable from October until April. In a way that's good because then I write. I will finish up this novella and then work on book #4. I have an idea for it. It will be a love hate relationship that takes place in a different country. I'm trying not to focus so much on it because I really need to get the novella out of my head first. I really do enjoy writing. It's too bad I don't have enough under my belt to be able to do this full time. 😐 That would be ideal. So if you win the lottery, please keep me in mind. Support the cause.
