Surviving Las Vegas

I knew Vegas was going to be hard, but I survived. 

Tons of people, flashing lights, no sleep - I was worried. I crawled home and moved only to work and take care of the furbabies the first week back. 

I think I'm back to normal now. 

I love, love, LOVE my friends. Being a part of the lesfic community is fantastic. I meet new writers and new readers every single event I attend. And make good friends. Friends I text daily, talk to on the phone, and could crash on their couches if I ever decided to up and go on a road trip across the country. 

PTown is next - in October and I'm counting down the days. If you haven't been, it really is a great time had by all. You can walk down Commercial, hear you name, and end up eating lunch with new people, or have impromptu drinks with old friends. 

I love my life. A lot is missing in it, but I will always have my writer friends and I will always have my stories.
